Harvest
Harvest and seasonality
Almonds are harvested between July and August using mechanical tree shakers, in a single annual pass. The method ensures efficiency while protecting the tree.

Quality
Tuono and Falsa Barese quality
Almonds are selected by caliber and integrity. Compared to hazelnuts, in-shell almonds are more stable and tolerate longer storage.
- Caliber: 28–32 mm (Tuono / Falsa Barese varieties)
- Maximum moisture: 7%
- Stable product: lower rancidity sensitivity than hazelnuts
- Batch selection: uniformity and consistency for industrial use
Storage
In-shell almond storage
In-shell almonds are a very stable product. Under proper storage conditions, they maintain their properties for extended periods.
- Recommended temperature: 5–15 °C
- Relative humidity: below 50%
- Avoid direct light and heat sources
- FIFO batch rotation and intact packaging until use

Shipped in 25 kg bags or big bags on pallets. Extended availability thanks to product stability.
